The City of Cincinnati is beginning the second phase of a program to deliver new trash carts to city residents . Households that have their trash collected on Tuesdays will be getting carts throughout May. The city said in a press release the neighborhoods of Bond Hill, Carthage, Hartwell, Kennedy Heights, Madisonville, North Avondale, Paddock Hills, Roselawn, and parts of Avondale, Evanston and Oakley will be receiving 65-gallon carts this month. So far the city has already delivered nearly 18,000 carts. Single-family homes and multi-family homes with up to four units will receive the containers throughout the summer . During June, residents with Wednesday trash collection will be getting new carts. Thursday collection will be distributed in July and those with Friday pick-up will be getting new containers in August. Each eligible household will receive only one cart , and residents are asked to try it for two weeks before requesting to swap for another size. The carts have wheels and
